Induced polarization method is one of the most effective geophysical method for detecting disseminated sulfides, oxides and porphyry type metal deposits, it has a good resolution and high efficiency. Sichuan is rich in mineral resources, variety complete, play a decisive role in the country. With the majority of mine surface mine reduced increasingly, and the deep concealed deposits has become an important task for deep ore prospecting. In this paper, Lala(Shilong) induced polarization data of copper ore processing and interpretation, in order to find out the regional spatial distribution of fracture structure, the influence of abnormal body, the delineation of deposit anomaly area, provide the basis for the determination of orebody depth, shape,position etc.The main work and achievements include:(1) from the analysis of the Lala Shilong copper iron deposit geology and geophysical characteristics, based on the analysis of previous work, the local mineral exploration test IP method.(2) the finite element method is used to realize IP two-dimensional forward numerical simulation, different directions of different layers, plate and terrain model are compared and analyzed, obtain IP vertical plate shaped body and a horizontal plate body forward pseudo section and their distinction mark.(3) the outstanding low resistivity and high polarization anomaly as IP rate parameters and display a comprehensive analysis of the natural potential parameters of carbonaceous slate anomalies, multi angle of IP anomaly analysis and reasonable inference.(4) by IP on acquisition ladder scanning and IP symmetric quadrupole sounding data preprocessing, using the least squares inversion program inversion symmetric quadrupole field data, apparent resistivity and polarizability of abnormal and symmetric quadrupole inversion of the anomaly make preliminary judgment and interpretation.(5) according to the profile of the collected audio magnetotelluric sounding data of the results were explained reasonably, the delineation of ore anomalies, has certain practical significance.
