High-power Induced Polarization is an effective means to explore underground mineral resources.In this thesis,based on the geological and borehole data of Fanzhuang Silver Mine,combined with the data collected by High-power Induced Polarization,the specific application of High-power Induced Polarization in searching for mineral resources.I participated in the whole process of line arrangement,High-power Induced Polarization data acquisition,data processing,data interpretation and borehole design in the survey area.Fanzhuang Silver Mine is located in Luoning County,Henan Province.In this thesis,the M23 vein of Suowao ore section in Fanzhuang mining area is taken as the research object.The purpose is to search for silver mine in the survey area and provide reference for industrial mining(Ag grade higher than 40g/t can build the silver orebody,and Ag grade higher than120g/t can meet the industrial mining,and the area requires Ag grade higher than 200g/t because of Party A's interest sharing).Fan Zhuang silver M23 vein is mainly controlled by the southern detachment fault in the mine,silver too vautrin chiefly basal granite gneiss,silver in property is often characterized by low resistance high polarization characteristics,granite gneiss on the physical properties of surrounding rock is characterized by high resistance low polarization,in view of ore body and wall rock physical properties difference,so choose High-power Induced Polarization in this mining area.In the High-power Induced Polarization data acquisition,19 lines were arranged,272measure points were located,and the exploration area was 3.6Km2.The data pass rate was97.8%.The High-power supply electrode distance is 1500m,the measuring electrode distance is40m,the measure point distance is 20m,and the line distance is 80m.The power supply cycle of Induced Polarization transmitter is 32"after comparison of tests.The mining area is divided into two survey areas.After data collection of survey areas?,it is found that the overall induced polarization effect in the working area is weak,and it is impossible to distinguish the polarization anomaly caused by orebody anomaly and topographic factors.So in the working area?to increase the southern working area,the geological conditions of the two areas are similar,the working area and has been explored to high grade silver ore.The data collection results of working area?can facilitate the geological interpretation and borehole verification deployment of the working area.Data collection and data interpretation are carried out in the working area?,and the abnormal area of apparent polarizability D?s1(average apparent polarizability 1.54%)and apparent resistivity D?s1(average apparent resistivity 868?ˇm)are delimit in the working area at the zone.The positions of the two abnormal areas overlap.There are previous boreholes ZK7701,ZK8101 and ZK8501 next to the abnormal area.The result of borehole sampling showed that the Ag grade in the sample was higher than 200g/t.The results show that the anomaly value of the apparent polarizability of working area?in the working area is close to that of the working area.Taking the abnormal area?as a reference,three abnormal areas of apparent polarizability are delineated in the working area:D?s2,D?s3 and D?s4.Three abnormal areas of apparent resistivity:D?s2,D?s3 and D?s4.Three boreholes were designed in the high polarization anomaly area:ZK5501,ZK5101 and ZK4901.ZK5501 was constructed and the grade of Ag in the sample was low.In the analysis,only the polarization anomaly was referred to in the design of borehole.The sampling location of ZK5501 was a high resistivity and high polarization anomaly area.After re-understanding,borehole ZK5301 and ZK7101 were redesigned in the abnormal area of low resistance and high polarization.During the construction of ZK5101 and ZK4901,the project was temporarily interrupted due to external factors.In the follow-up work,priority will be given to the construction of borehole ZK5301 and ZK7301.The probability of finding high grade silver ore body is predicted to be very high.
