With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the remote sensing satellite has more and more influence in the field of surveying and mapping. Recent years, China has focused on its development in satellite system of surveying and mapping. China has launched ZY and Tian Hui domestic satellite, which realize the autonomy of domestic satellite mapping. The establishment of the domestic satellite system needs stereo mapping method to process the satellite image data.Aiming to the domestic three line satellite image data, this paper proposes the seamless stereo mapping method based on stereo image. Firstly, this paper uses original images and RPC parameters to generate approximate epipolar image. After that, the SGM method is utilized to calculate the corresponding relationship between corresponding points, these points are interpolated to get the DEM, then the original image will be corrected to generate digital orthophoto. At last, the orthophoto will be resampled to get the stereo image by artificially introduce parallax into DEM This thesis chooses three images acquired by ZY-3 satellite, and obtains their orthophotos and stereo images, then the optimized ant colony mosaic algorithm is applied to get wide range of orthophoto and stereo image.This thesis implemented experiments to verify the proposed seamless stereo mapping model, the wide range orthophoto and stereo image are lineally stretched and displayed in red and green bands, respectively. Compared with the existing mapping model in commercial software, our model can obtain accuracy that meets standards and satisfy the requirement of stereo mapping.
