The main economic and social development of China’s energy is coal production and safety accidents often occur in the process of mining coal, which seriously threaten the lives and safety of miners.Coal mine accidents occurred due not only caused by the exploitation of natural geological disasters ground, but also under the influence of various types of disasters brought mine.During the coal production, the degree of harm is more serious water damage after mine production of the second-largest gas disaster.Mined Areas universality of water has caused national attention, and now many construction projects are required for geological hazard assessment, including the assessment of mined-out area of water is extremely important. The use of geophysical methods to detect water in Mine area is a very popular resort, but also achieved some results, transient electromagnetic method and ground penetrating radar method among them. However, the different detection methods have their different strengths and weaknesses. Single geophysical methods may exist many problems in the detection process, such as multi-solution approach of limiting itself and its methods, together with the subject to electrical interference, the impact of ground conditions, detector accuracy and depth of other reasons, resulting in the processing of raw data and the accuracy and reliability is not high. For the geophysical exploration technology, a combination of two or more kinds of integrated geophysical methods probing is necessary, so you can display their talents, learn from each other, provide an irreplaceable guarantee for follow-up work.Because the terrain has the advantage of small, high detection efficiency, low resistivity body reactions were like, transient electromagnetic method is often used to detect mines Goaf and rich water situations; however, this method can only be used as apparent resistivity data reference, and there are some blind spots effect technically, can compensate for this missing information by ground-penetrating radar method, so that anomalies are recognized inside the mine. In this paper, geophysical prospecting method in coal mine hydrogeological study carried out in combination coal exploration data, a detailed study of transient electromagnetic method and application of GPR Method in Detecting Gob mine water zone. Featured different geophysical methods vary by play their respective advantages, to the realization of "a deep one shallow," the detection purpose, make data more complete and accurate, to provide a basis for mining exploration. Finally, summarize the achievements and shortcomings, the corresponding recommendations for the implementation of geophysical methods in the coal mine.
