High precision magnetic survey is one of the most common and important method used in Geophysical exploration, which contributes to prospecting and detailed survey for solid mineral resources, tectonic study of oil and gas and coal bearing basins,as well as geological mapping, etc. At present guided by the advanced geological metallogenic theory, the main method of the geological prospecting work has shifted to the deep underground for concealed ore bodies by using comprehensive methods with geological, geophysical, geochemical data and remote sense information. This thesis is a part work of the project of “1:50000 regional geological and mineral resources survey in Wulanwuzhuer district, Qinghai province”, which issued by Land and Resources Department of Qinghai Province. It includes a detailed introduction of the field data collecting and processing method of high-accuracy magnetic survey, a summary of the features of the rock and ore magnetic and electrical parameters, and interpretations of the major magnetic anomalies, based on the geophysical respecting results between 2012 and 2013.In this thesis, six magnetic anomalies were delineated. And frequency domain transformation, continuation analysis and derivation were processed on the △T magnetic anomalies. Four sections were chosen for inversion calculation of magnetic body top buried depth by using characteristic points and tangent methods. These magnetic anomalies were inferred and interpreted combining with available geological information, magnetic, electric parameter of the rock and ore samples. As the results, four fault zones are found, one magnetic anomaly is inferred as suspected ore anomaly and four magnetic anomalies are interpreted as hidden magnetic body. One magnetic anomaly is inferred as unknown property anomaly. Among the six magnetic anomalies, four anomalies have the potential to find metallic mineral deposit, they are numbered as M3-2,M4,M5, and M2 respectively, which are considered as ore-forming enrichment zone and prior exploration area. And further exploration is suggested in these areas.
