Data Processing And Application Of High-precision Magnetic Survey In Altan Obao Area, Inner Mongolia

Magnetic exploration is one method of the earliest development and most extensive application in geophysical technology.In reconnaissance survey and detailed survey of solid mineral resource、reconnaissance survey of oil and gas structure and coalfield structure、several geological problems and geological mapping,magnetic exploration can all play a important role of different degrees.Magnetic susceptibility can reflect magnetic characteristics of soils、rocks、sediments in the nature world,so it can analysis the migration、the conversion and group regulation of magnetic minerals in the environmental system.There are the magnetic susceptibilities of 129 samples to classified in lithology and be measured.From these data it can speculate that the red anomaly area is shaped by small magnetic geological bodies instead of lithology.The processing and conversion of magnetic anomaly is absolutely necessary to the interpretation of magnetic anomaly,and processed information is more useful.The conversion of the vertical pole、the upward continuation to 50m、100m、200m、500m、1km and 2km and vertical and horizontal derivation of one order for the initial anomaly chart are processed into new anomaly charts.From these charts it can find that magnetic anomaly is shaped by some small magnetic geological bodies who extend 500m to underground.Only ground high-precision magnetic survey can not prospect minerals. Geochemical exploration is one of the most direct methods in prospecting.The article applies traditional method to get the anomalous line,and draws charts of geochemical anomaly by SURFER software.In comparison with magnetic anomaly chart,we can see geochemical anomaly areas of Au、Ag、Hg and Ni is in the scope of magnetic anomaly area.Final,based on the stratum、the lithology and tectonic types of research area,one preferable ore prospecting area are delineated through magnetic anomaly chart and geochemical anomaly chart.The prospecting area perhaps have the potential to find associated gold and silver deposits and hydrothermal deposits.
