Face to the condition of a country, which is more people and less land, the serioushuman-land conflict, and direct to the production and construction damage cultivatedland, it is necessary and urgent to carry on reclamation work, the cultivated landsuitability evaluation is the foundational work to do a good job for reclamation ofcultivated land, the key is to make use of cultivated land suitability evaluation system,draw the appropriate category and cultivated land suitability rating, finally determinethe direction and goals of the cultivated land reclamation. So carrying out cultivatedland suitability evaluation work plays an important role in solving the serioushuman-land conflict and using land more and more scientifically and reasonably,sustainably and efficiently.The paper takes the temporary occupation area based on the construction ofyingliangbao hydropower station in Luding County as the research object, whichestablishing the research area cultivated land suitability evaluation index system, basedon field survey data analysis, and applying the fuzzy mathematics to conduct thesuitability evaluation of the study area cultivated land. The main research achievementsare as follows:(1) According to the principles and steps of cultivated land suitability evaluation,select the gravel content, terrain slope, soil depth, soil nutrient content as evaluationfactors, and determine the evaluation criteria and the weight of each factor, on this basis,establishing the research area cultivated land suitability evaluation index system.(2) Based on field investigation results, define the land use status of the study areaexplicitly, where the most common land use is dry land, terrain slope is not too large,soil type is the red earth, nutrient content is not high, soil layer thickness is medium andthin, the gravel content of surface soil is in the range of medium gravel to heavy gravel.(3) Applying the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to conduct acomprehensive evaluation for the plots of the study area land, and get a composite scorethe suitability of each plot, the composite score shows that the highest score area is theWasiyingpan, a lowest area is space Q; furthermore, using Matlab programming toimplement fuzzy clustering analysis of the plots of the research area land, and relyingon the F test of mathematical statistics, the cultivated land in the study area land isdivided into three categories.(4)Combining the achievements originated from fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod and fuzzy clustering analysis method, achieve the cultivated land suitabilitylevel of the temporary occupation area based on the construction of yingliangbaohydropower station in Luding County, the suitability level results show that a high level of suitable plots are Chesuoba, Baozicun, Shencun; a moderate suitable plots areWasigou, Jinguangcun, Maliecun; a lower level of suitable plots are Shabacun andspace Q. Therefore this article provides a basis for a sustainable use of study area land,gives a more rational science reference for the engineering construction and providesguidance for future reclamation work.(5) According to the suitability level of each temporary expropriation area, thepaper proposes reasonable suggestions from more reasonable scientific view ofengineering construction and the work of land reclamation.
