Ll-138well area in Zibei Oilfield is located in the southwest of the town of theJianyucha in Liu Jia Ping village. The main reservoir is Chang-6formation. This area isdeveloped in2008, a total of more than370wells have been drilled until now. Thedevelopment driving force is the original pressure, injection is not used yet. As the basis ofthe injection work in Chang-6, the characteirstic of reservoir is becoming more and moreimportant.Based on the study of geological characteristics associated with the fades of the Li-138well area, application of the theories and methods of geological logging, Chang6formationis subdivided into4members with the characters of lithology, electricity and the content ofoil. The geological structure of the study aera is not complicated, it simply composed of aseries low amplitude nose shaped uplift which is formed by the force of differentialcompaction iri the western-tilting monoclinic. The oil and gas are mainly gathered in the eastto the west trend anticlinal traps consist of this nose shaped uplitf associated with delta sandbody. The area belongs to the delta plain deposition, which includes the distributary channeldeposit and the natural levee deposit, the microfacies mainly include marsh and beach. Thelayer has lenticular and sand texture, the water, wave and the bioturbation structure could beseen on some sites. There are two accumulation models in Chang6formation, one is sandlens reservoir of regional tectonic background accumulation and the other is updip pinchoutreservoir accumulation. The reservoir quality is basically controlled by the lit ho logy andphysical property, it has some low amplitude nose shaped uplift which is formed by the forceof differential compaction, the driving mechanism type is elastic-dissolved gas drive, andthe oil-water interface is not obvious.
