Mechanism study into the transport process of micro-particle in liquid-solid two-phase flow field involves the fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics and many other disciplines which are very important. On the basis of existing research methods and results, the research object can be simplified to be micro-particles. Then this paper studies the mechanism into the transport process of micro-particle in liquid-solid two-phase flow field respectively from the theoretical and experimental aspects.For the theoretical research, this paper establishes the control equation based on force analysis. Through the control equation, we get the expression of micro-particles in the horizontal flow field of transport. To solve the equations of transport of the micro-particles, forces on the micro-particles are compared and the Magnus lift and Saffman lift are ignored in appropriate cases. At the same time, the right calculation format of Basset force is built.Then we solve the equation by MATLAB software. In addition, some certain factors including particle diameter and particle density may influence the transport process of micro-particle in liquid-solid two-phase flow field are taking into account. Especially, this paper studies the influence of the micro-particle shape with Fluent software.For the experimental research, a digital holographic image processing system is established to observe the motion of micro-particle based on digital holographic image processing technology. After the image and data processing with software, it is obvious that the motion process can be observed using the experimental system. All these above researches are to make a foundation for the following researches on the observation on transport process of micro-particles in the complex flow field.Based on the existing theoretical and experimental researches in this paper, it can be indicated that the researching method is feasible to study the motion characteristics and transport mechanism micro-particles in the flow field. All these results provide the foundation for the follow-up research.
