Hoboksar Iketorprague gold deposit is located in the west of Junggar south southwest of snow millsstein anticline, Junggar plate tectonic position in the northern margin of Palaeozoic epicontinental active belt of Late Paleozoic island arc in mature. The west of Iketorprague mining area is typical fractured alteration rock type gold deposit- Harman Deposit, two are in the one metallogenic belt.Iketorprague gold mining area is also the fracture altered rock type gold deposit, the type of gold deposits is mainly affected by volcanic mechanism and fracture control.The output space of fractured altered rock type gold deposit is controlled by the regional deep fault zone or buried fault. Fracture space position of this type of deposit control is more obvious, the general output of this type of deposit in the vicinity of the fault zone.Therefore, study the structure of this type of deposit in fracture would be useful to determine the faults in mineralization effect.Large area covered by the Quaternary formation in study area of this paper, the previous speculation where the 1:50000 regional geological map two faults across the study area.The location and scale of fault are great significance to the study of gold deposits in the region.In the past geological work has not been clearly determined fault accurate location. The object of work is to determine the specific location and spatial distribution of faults and secondary faults. On the basis of the concealed faults in mining area, combined with previous data and the specific work requirements, to carry on the feasibility analysis of geophysical prospecting method, to determine the specific work method(audio magnetotelluric sounding method), and the analysis of its effect on the mineralization.Processing of measurement data acquisition, data interpretation, carried out within the mining area of buried fault delineation work.Delineate the Iketorprague mine concealed fracture using audio magnetotelluric sounding, delineation of the mining area in the six scale larger fault: F7, F8, F10 and F11, F12, f13, five smaller fault: F14, F15, F16, F17, F18.F7, F8 is scale fault,F10- F18 are the secondary faults of F7, F8. The delineation of the exact position of fault F7, F8 indicates the direction for the next step of mining area.Gold orebody in two main faults at the intersection, F7 fault(EW) and F8 fault(fault at the eastern end of the North East) to the intersection of location. F8, F7 fault control the output space of the gold ore body.F14-F18(the near North West) are the secondary fracture of F8,are alsothe main ore bearing structure.
