The Research Of Equal Height Spiral Bevel Gear NC Milling Machine

Drive axle equal height spiral bevel gears are widely used in automobile, tractor,etc. With the rapid development of China’s automobile industry, the demand of equalheight spiral bevel gear is exponential growth. At present, the existing equal heightspiral bevel gear equipments in our country are mostly imported machine. In order tomeet the needs of vehicle transmission gear manufacturing, in this paper, the equalheight spiral bevel gear NC machining tool is developed.1The development, classification and characteristics of spiral bevel gear isintroduced, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing domestic and foreignspiral bevel gear NC machining tool is compared. By analysis of the processingprinciple and method of equal height spiral bevel gear, the design scheme of CNCmilling machine processing of equal height spiral bevel gear is presented.2The structure of machine tools is designed, especially for the optimizationdesign of the workpiece box machine, such as improving the design, selection andoptimization of the workpiece shaft bearing, gear clearance elimination structuredesign etc. The workpiece box structure assembly drawing and parts drawing aredesigned and put into production.3The machine tool control system is designed. According to the actualrequirements of machine tool movement, the CNC system of milling machine isreasonably choiced, the machine tool circuit diagram is designed, and the NC programis developed.4The machine is assembled. By milling test, the function, precision andefficiency of machine tool are tested.Experimental results show that, the equal height spiral bevel gear NC millingmachine can meet the requirements of gear milling, processing of equal height spiralbevel gear to meet the technical requirements, and has the advantages of high processing efficiency, simple operation, low price, achieve the expected designrequirements.
