Global warming is mainly due to the excessive emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, more than the environmental load caused by the climate problem. Countries have realized the high energy consumption, high pollution and high emission, high-price "model of economic growth is an urgent need to change. The Chinese government announced a clear quantitative targets for controlling greenhouse gas emissions per unit GDP carbon dioxide emissions to2020declined40%to45%in2005based on. Not only China, the world have introduced their own plans to reduce emissions, what factors lead to carbon dioxide emissions? How to find a suitable path to reducing greenhouse gas emissions without affecting economic growth? It is based on this hot, this article draws on low-carbon economic theory, theory of sustainable development on the basis of the review the relevant literature, the use of cointegration analysis, decoupling analysis and the environmental Kuznets curve model, and LMDI decomposition method, the system the relationship between carbon dioxide emissions caused by fossil energy consumption of Jiangsu Province and economic growth. The article is mainly to draw the following conclusions:(1) the long term have a negative impact on an economic growth increment of the current carbon dioxide emissions increase, and industry structural factors negative impact on carbon dioxide emissions, while energy consumption increased carbon dioxide emissions The amount of impact is positive, and greater value.(2) carbon emissions from fossil energy consumption in Jiangsu Province, EKC is more suitable for the cubic form.(3) carbon emissions LMDI factor decomposition model results are seen to play a diminished role in the energy structure effect and the energy intensity effect on carbon dioxide emissions, while the economies of scale factors will increase carbon dioxide emissions.
