Abstract:Copper occupies important position in national economy, Copper tube has be used all aspects of the economy, Rolling high-quality copper tube is must for industrial upgrading. The Finite Element Analysis has many characteristics, such as high efficiency, low cost, short cycle, which makes it has been widely used in metal rolling field. With the rapid development of computer technology, the improvement of finite element software, and many scholars has researched on the numerical simulation technology, which makes Finite Element Analysis can establish high accuracy of the Numerical Simulation model, simulating the real process of rolling tube.In the process of carrying on the Finite Element Analysis should be considered the large deformation problems in the process of tube hot rolling, with be using of nonlinear Finite Element Analysis basic theory and the theoretical analysis of metal related rule of stress and strain in the large deformation. In Finite Element Analysis software we use Update-Lagrange theory to deal with rolling process. The selection method is using the Newton method.By changing the parameters set of process in rolling copper tube, we could research the influence of various parameters on the temperature in the process of rolling, rolling force, the stress and strain. We got the general tendency of hot rolling copper tube under the different process parameters, such as:the rolling reduction and the initial rolling temperature had more influence on rolling force. The bigger rolling reduction, the greater rolling force, it presented a direct proportion relationship. The higher initial temperature, the litter rolling force. We got the general law of metal liquidity in the hot rolling process.The finite element models were based on the practice of the rolling copper tube in the steel group company. With the aiding of Finite Element Analysis software MSC.MARC, it calculated the copper tube rolling process. It demonstrates the accuracy of calculation and lays a foundation for the further study. This work is proved to have some academic value and practical merit in some degree.
