Jialing River is the main source of water consumption in Nanchong, but also the mainriver accepts the whole city’s production wastewater and domestic sewage water. With thecontinued development of industrial and agricultural production and economic of Nanchong,a large number of industrial wastewater and untreated sewage directly or indirectly dischargedinto the Jialing River. With the increase of pollutants’ emissions, the water quality of JialingRiver is deteriorating. And it affects the downstream counties’ water consumption. To protectthe water quality, improve the urban environment and improve people’s living standards,ensure the sustainability of economic development, it is very necessary and urgent thatconstructing the project of Jingxi Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nanchong.This paper is aimed at Nanchong JingXi Sewage Treatment Plant Construction Projectand its actual background, and include the comparison of project plan, engineering design, aswell as the risk prediction, evaluation, etc, in order to further determine the feasibility of theproject. This project uses the Water Well, Fine Screen, Rotational Flow Grit Chamber,Anaerobic Pool and Improved Oxidation Ditch, Settlement Tank, D-type Filter, UVDisinfection, to make the sewage emission requirements. It have a sludge treatment systemand the pumping station, and also designed the architecture, structure, electric, automation infactory. In addition, in view of the project, its environmental impact are analyzed andcountermeasures are put forward in this paper. And also, in order to ensure the accuracy of thefeasibility study, this paper has made risk analysis, investment estimates, and financialanalysis, etc. It is finally concluded that JingXi Sewage Treatment Plant Project can beimplemented, and its environmental and social benefit is remarkable.
