Compared with traditional forging, cross wedge rolling has become a new type ofSemi-axis processing technology because of high productivity, saving material and higherproduct precision. Aluminum alloy has good plasticity, high corrosion resistance and strength, etc. As the lightweight demand is higher and higher, aluminum alloy material gradually won awide application in vehicle parts manufacturing. Based on6061aluminum alloy vehicleSemi-axis, the influence of cross wedge rolling mould’s parameters on material’s processingwas analyzed, besides the law of material flow and deformation mechanism in the process ofrolling.Moulds were established in Pro/E besides rolled piece and entity model of the damper, then import the DEFORM software platform, generate finite element model of aluminum alloySemi-axisforming withmulti-wedgecrosswedge rolling. The changing law of stress and strain and metal flowing in the rolling process wereobtained by studying the change of stress and strain of the typical longitudinal section and crosssection with. Compared with the CWR, it clarified the position of the aluminum alloy parts’loosedefectsthrough MCWRwas different. The influence law of rolling force and rolling moment and stress and strain of rolled piecethe core with the processing parameters of cross wedge rolling were obtained by using thefiniteelement simulation.Based on different type of aluminum alloy materials processing with multi-wedge crosswedge rolling, stress and damage value were obtained, it provided the theoretical basis for theselection ofaluminum alloy parts of rolling material.
