The Study And Development Of The Release Agent Spraying System On Cross Wedge Rolling For Aluminum Alloy Forging

In order to break through the constraints on sustainable development of the economy by the energy consumption and environmental deterioration,automotive industry as the major energy consumption,lightweight of automobile has become one of the most important development direction of the automobile industry technology now.Aluminum alloy,which has high specific strength and excellent corrosion resistant properties,is the preferred lightweight materials on automobile.Cross Wedge Rolling process,as a significant technical way to forge aluminum alloy,has high production efficiency,good product uniformity,high material utilization and other advantages.According to the material property of aluminum alloy,the surface quality of forging and its inner structure property can be improved effectively through reasonable lubrication during the cross wedge rolling of aluminum alloy.This article designs and develops the corresponding spraying lubrication system for the Cross Wedge Rolling in accordance with requirements of spraying lubrication on die,which is specialized in aluminum alloy forging,and developed by BRIMET on its own.The paper designs and develops the executive device,lubricant supplying-device on spraying lubrication system of aluminum alloy forging by Auto CAD and Solidworks on the basis of the production process of whole forging line and the operating feature of Cross Wedge Rolling,combined with the material property of aluminum alloy.And the dynamic model of lubricant supplying-device of Cross Wedge Rolling is established through the gas and liquid physics principle.The system is also simulated by Simulink in MATLAB.The lubricating effect is promoted and verified by the rolling test on the Cross Wedge Rolling specialized in aluminum alloy under the spraying lubrication condition.
