Revealing the relationship between immigration cultivation and ecologicalenvironment change in historical period is an important direction of historical researchin area development,also is a important research part of the ecological environmentchange. This paper will use the new method and historical depth of the excavation tocombo the development policy,immigration cultivation and crop incoming foreigninfluence other systems of the Qing Dynasty by using field work and genealogy whichbased on the previous conclusion studies. In this way,we can take an in-depthdiscussion about the economic development activities and the ecological environmentalchanges in Lishui River Basin.The first chapter explains the origin of the topic,followed by a review of thecurrent status quo of academic research on the subject and omissions and shortcomingsin the studies to once again illustrates the theoretical basis of the topic,the researchmethods and the study influence.The last part reviews the previous system of the naturalgeography, history, ecological environment and the way of life of local residents inthe Qing Dynasty of Lishui River Basin. Long before the Qing Dynasty, the ancientdynasty of central had a small scale development,especially the upstream areas ofLishui River Basin.It’s mainly in the county surrounding areas, the majority of themajor mountains are under the control of TuSi or toast Wei. Because of the hard remotefor Mainland immigrants,the impact of this development on the local ecologicalenvironment way is small.The second chapter discusses the immigrant background, process and resultscultivation of Lishui River Basin in the Qing Dynasty. The immigration began in QingEmperor Kangxi, but it was a small scale. After the GaiTuGuiLiu,the central dynastyabolished the TuSi system and the toast Wei system to strength the rule of this regionand take the implementation development comprehensive and in-depth. By immigrantsmoved and large scale cultivation in Lishui basin, the population grow rapidly andlimited the land overwhelmed.The third chapter focuses on the impact of immigration on the ecologicalenvironment reclamation of the Lishui River. The large-scale land reclamation in theupper reaches of the mountains Lishui caused massive soil erosion, resulting infrequent floods and droughts,severe deterioration of the ecological environment due togovernment’s development and management disorder.In Liyang Plain regiondownstream,the massive of lakes and embankment cause the heavy rain to flood whenflood burst the dam, which brought a grave disaster for downstream people.Last of thechapter summarizes the lessons based on the history that Qing Dynasty’s change in landuse patterns which led to deterioration of ecological environment by focus on two issuesto discuss the adaptability of land use surrounding environmental, the nationaldevelopment policies and the ecological safety with an view to provid a reference fortoday’s ecological construction and ecological restoration of Lishui River Basin.
