Since stainless steel thin-walled tube is safe and reliable, hygienic and eco-friendly, and economical and practical, it has been increasingly applied in engineering. The major aim of stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting machine is to cut thin-walled tube, and at the same time to accomplish the function of incision deburring. However, its design and production in China is still blank. To design a high-speed thin-walled tube cutting device with low cost, high precision and simple structure is vital in promoting the application rate of stainless thin-walled tube.According to the requirements of the cutting condition, this thesis studies the technological theories of stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting machine, seeks out the key technology and technical problem that it confronts in its development. On the basis of the design ideology of electromechanical integration, it also analyzes and designs the control system and mechanical structure of stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting, and truly realizes electromechanical integration. The part of machine design of stainless steel thin-walled tube mainly deals with the theoretical exploration, design and calculation of the whole system and its main units. Adopting CAD technology to draw and optimize parameter, it improves the precision of the mechanical parts of the whole system, and shortens the design cycle. The core of the control system employs PLC control technology, making high automation of the cutting system possible and reducing the production cost.Stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting machine designed in this research adopts the method of using hydraulic cylinder clamp and screw drive saw blade for cutting. This scheme maximizes the cutting precision and the incision quality of cutting machine. The design uses hydraulic cylinder clamp to clamp the stainless steel thin-walled tube and achieves favorable clamping effect. Since the structure is simple, it is easy to install. According to the burr formation mechanism of stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting machine, it designs a new type of deburring equipment and can achieve satisfactory deburring effect. In addition to the mechanical device, this paper also researches the control system. In accordance with the features of the stainless steel thin-walled tube hydraulic fixture, the study adopts BP neural network PID control technology to control the hydraulic cylinder. Based on mathematical modeling and MATLAB simulation system, it proves the favorable effects of BP neural network controller in the control of stainless hydraulic fixture. In the experimental prototype, it realizes the control of the automatically loaded card in the process of thin-walled cutting, and sticks the thin-walled tube with the thickness of0.8mm fast and nondestructive. Regarding PLC as the control core, supplemented by the elements of the stepping motor, the driver, and the grating sensor and so on, the main control system completes the automatic production of the stainless steel thin-walled tube processing. The research also carries out the debugging and experiment of the whole machine. The experiment results show that:stainless steel thin-walled tube cutting machine operates stably with high precision, realizes the automation of cutting and deburring processes, reduces the labor intensity, improves work efficiency, promotes the development of stainless steel cutting technology, and has relatively high social and economic benefits.
