Environmental Impact Index Assessment Of Wind Power Plant Project

Compared with other energy generation， wind power is the renewable andclean energy whose development is encouraged and supported. But in the process ofwind power construction and operation， it also has direct or indirect impact on theenvironment. Given the huge social and economic benefit of wind power， itsimpact on the environment during construction and operation is often overlooked，especially the influence of the ecological environment. Throughout the buildingfarms now， most of wind plants distribute in key protected areas of ecologicalenvironment.At present， environment evaluation framework is overly generalization.Environmental impact analysis is lack of pertinence and applicability for differenttypes of energy. Environmental evaluation index of wind power project is notunified， and each project evaluation has different scope. So from the concept ofwind power construction project impact on environment， this article put forwardthe key evaluation factors， set up evaluation index system of wind power project，and set evaluation standards of each index.First the paper is introduced related theory of environment evaluation， andsummarized the related specification and evaluation content; based oncharacteristics of environmental impact of hydropower， thermal power， and solarenergy， it summarizes the characteristics of wind power projects and impact factors.Then important assessment factor of impact on environment of wind power projectis put forward. We set up evaluation index system of wind power project， and setevaluation standards of each index. For validating applicability and operability ofevaluation index system and evaluation standard， we chose40Million kilowattswind power project as a subject. Index system for the project is applicable andoperable in evaluation of ecological environment， electromagnetic environment，water environment and acoustic environment.In practice， this paper provides the reference evaluation index for each windpower project; In theory， it could provide theory basis for wind power projectenvironmental impact assessment in the future.
