The occident brands brought in their products with new technology andadvanced design are not only interesting in the middle and high-end market, but also showingtheir desire to common customer. As a key process of faucet production, the feasibility ofassembling is significant for decreasing cost, shorten lead time and ensuring product quality.The feasibility of assembling of a product is high correlative with its design. Therefore,perform assembly evaluation to the design with proper evaluation model prior tooling is veryimportant.At this moment, the existing assembling evaluation model cannot work well with faucetproduct design. As a result, we need to develop a new evaluation model that fit to faucetproduct. In this paper, the author described in detail the setup procedure of Singleoperation-Whole assembling process two level assembling ability fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation method for faucet product, including its hierarchy, evaluation of factors andgrading, defining of weight of factors in an operation, establishing of the two level assemblingevaluation sets. Meanwhile, the author tried to use this fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod to evaluate a new faucet design in the half bottom of this paper. With the result formevaluation model, the author has advised the suggestion to improve design for betterassembling ability.Due to the numerous of factors in faucet assembling process, it is difficult to determinewhich factor is more important and need to pay more attention in different process. Form theresult of this research, the Single operation-Whole assembling two levels fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method works well in differentiating the critical factors in everyoperation, providing good support for following analysis and improved design solution.Therefore, this two level assembling ability fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method iseffective for faucet design work. |
