Tire testing machine is the key equipment of tire quality control. Such machineswere dependent on importing. Recently, China’s tire testing machine manufacturersare booming and get a very big improvement. For the Mine vehicle tire which withbig load and very poor environments, the research work is only in very beginning. Itis different for mine vehicle compare with the on road car. The load for the minevehicle is big and fast. It is more impactive. So, to simulate the working condition,we need more complicated hydraulic system and control system. The requirement forthe hydraulic components is higher. The mine vehicle tire testing machines arenecessary now in China to start up.Cornering characteristics is very important for the whole tire test. It is a keyinformation for tire controlling ability. The cornering characteristics is a departure ofthe tire real direction from the turned direction affect by inertia force and tiredeformation. In the cornering characteristics testing system, the angle set up wascontrolled by hydraulic motor or cylinder in the world. They are different in theperformance. This paper will make study in details. For example, the motor solutionhas a better response, but we have to add a gear-rack system to change the rotatemoment to line moment. So the motor system is suitable for the small tire or highprecision system. The cylinder system has a bigger output force and simple structure.And the precision can be improved by P adjustment. So it is suitable for bigger tiretesting..This paper is based on the mine vehicle tire test machine corneringcharacteristics hydraulic servo system. And deduced the transfer formula of typicalsymmetric servo valve controlled asymmetric cylinder and the symmetric servo valvecontrolled motor, through theoretical analysis, the simulation software create a tiretest machine cornering characteristics system mathematical model in the simulationsoftware. Simulation by Simulink with linear way to confirm the system andcomponents are right. Simulation by D&C simulator with un-linear way to check theresult. During the simulation, we found the amplification P is priority, it should besetup first. Integration can make the stable error. But it also a negative factor foroscillation. For manufactures, the paper is a part of principle analysis, It has a guidingsignificance to designing and debugging mine tire testing machines.
