In our country, industiral waste water with much quantity is a main pollution sourcewhose treatment is difficult. Industiral waste water can substitutes for slurry water and beblended with coal powder to produce coal slurry which can be bunr or gasificated. By this way,industiral water can be reused.The domestic research of industiral waste water has not really been used in engineeirng.The paper discusses how to prepare coal slurry from coal and semi coke waste water. Aresearch and detail analysis has been done on the full stuff property and the gasification result.The research result shows that the mateiral in the waste water has a better effect to disperseand stabilize but it is not practice directly to get the slurry with a high concentration and betterlfuidity and stability. The additive should be chosen according to the property of coal sampleand the mateiral contained in waste water As for the slurry produced by semi cokc wastewater, the better additive is GHA-5whose dosage is0.5%. On the basis, the slurry with63%concentration can be prepared and the slurry has better fluidity and stability-Reasonable sizesegment can reslirctedly improve the slurry concentration. The coal water slurry can beproduced by means of semi coke waste water with semi coke powder and Shenfu area coal.Through the study found that the phenolic substances of waste water will have the effectof surface active agent, lower the viscosity of slurry; the ammonia nitrogen of waste water canimprove the stability of the slurry. Furthermore, the oil in the waste water will increasecaloirfic value of CWS.industiral tiral burning shows that it is feasible to substitute industrial water for freshwater on gasification. The semi coke powder can be used as gasiifcation raw mateirals. Indifferent proportion, a kind of slurry can be produced by means of blending coal from Shenfuarea with semi coke powder and waste water. The index of the slurry is ideal and the contentof CO+H2reaches above76%.Its specific oxygen consumption is below500N3m/l OOOKN3m(CO+H2) and its speciifc raw mateiral consumption is less than6QOkg/KN3m(CO+H2). In addition,the influence of oxygen and coal rate, gasiifcation temperature and pressure on gasification process is researched in the paper. The result showsthat with the increase of the slurry concentration, the content of valid gas (CO+H2) increases;with the increase of the rate of oxygen and coal, the content of valid gas (CO+H2) decreases;gasiifcation temperature and pressure have not obvious affection on the content of valid gas.
