Most of gold mine enterprises in China adopt the cyaniding technology for gold leaching process, which included all-sliming cyanidation process, gold flotation concentrate cyanidation process and heap leaching process for low-grade gold ore. A large number of gold and silver roasting-cyanide tail slags are being released every year. They not only take up quantities of farmland and waste valuable resources, but also pollute the environment seriously.The comprehensive recovery and utilization of the two kinds of cyanide tailings have been studied according to the analysis result of tailings properties. Nowadays the recovery of valuable elements from cyanide tailings produced by the gold flotation concentrate cyanidation process mostly use flotation process. Copper and zinc in the cyanide tailings have a low recovery ratio, because the remnant cyanide in the cyanide tailings has a strong inhibition effect on copper and zinc minerals. Acidification method, used to damage CN-in the industry, is easy to produce the extremely poisonous prussic acid and led to the operating environment has serious security risk. The paper focus point on the above problem existed. A new cyanide remover is used to decyanation.And the decyanation effect is good and no prussic acid be produced. The new activator is used as the activator which can activate the mineral of copper and zinc contained in the cyanide tailings. A lot of tests and studies have been completed for probing into the dosage of cyanide remover and activator, and for probing into the affection of technology parameter of flotation to the recycling of lead, copper and zinc contained in cyanide tailings.Through the closed loop verification test with all the technological processes above-mentioned, a lead concentrate could be recovered80.45%which contains lead with grade48.01%. And a copper concentrate could be obtained which contains copper with grade23.61%and the recovery ratio is66.75%, a zinc concentrate could be obtained which contains zinc with grade78.72%and the recovery ratio is48.83%The metallic minerals contained in the cyanide tailings which are produced by the all-sliming cyanidation process are main oxide minerals. They are difficult to recycle by flotation process and can’t get efficient use in a long time. In order to solve this problem, a lot of work has been done on the all-slime cyanidation tailings produced by a gold mining enterprise in Shandong Province. The cment clinker can be got by milling and calcining the limestone and tailings at1400℃for1h. The the cement clinker is rich in C2S. The strength of hydration products of cement clinker reaches32.5strength grade.The comprehensive recovery and utilization of the two kinds of cyanide tailings not only can bring economic benefits for the gold mining enterprise, but also bring benefits for environment.
