With the rapid development of modern manufacturing, Axis CNC machining technologyhas a significant place in our country. In order to design CNC machining center of five-axiswith high-precision and high rigidity, designer has been tireless struggle to obtain the goal.On the basis of a brief introduction about the development of five-axis machining center,apply three-dimensional software Pro/E to build model of bi-rotary milling and its keycomponents, visual image analysis of its structural characteristics.Describes the characteristics, applications and building steps of the fault tree analysismethod. On this foundations, apply the method to make qualitative analysis about the millinghead and its key components. Summarize the failure mode, and take targeted measures andmethods. Then on the foundations of qualitative analysis, take quantitative analysis of torquemotor and milling head overall. Head reliable results overall probability95%, the result in thedesign requirements.Using Workbench software to analyse the sensitivity of C-aixs body, analyse the degreeof influence about three parameters of the overall deformation, mass and volume, and for themost sensitive of the DS-02size optimization, analyse the optimized case to take fatiguecharacteristics, you can see the stress and deformation cloud in our design requirements,eliminating lots of fatigue tests.Describes the principles and procedures of topology optimization, and take topologyoptimization of the key component gimbal. The goal is to reduce quality. In the designrequirements of stiffness and strength, remove the four corners on the lower and reduce thethickness of the ribs so as to achieve the purpose of weight loss, with a substantial reduction inthe quality of the gimbal on the overall.
