Analyse the performance data of major manufacturers of milling head. Determine the milling head's design goal, explained the research's background, significance and research methods. Then, analyse the architecture of direct drive A/C axis bi-rotary milling head, illustrates the advantages of torque motor direct drive milling head. Application three-dimensional software to create model of the various components,assemble machines and inspect interference. Using finite element analysis software to do the statics analysis of milling head's important parts. Get the torsional deflection of A axis and C axis, calculate it static inflexibility. Analyse the milling head's weak links as spacer bush. Proposed the improvement plan to shorten the length of the spacer bush, improve milling head stiffness. Analyse the milling head's kinetics characteristics, obtained the top ten natural frequencies and mode shapes. Thus can control the outside the frequency of vibration force. Effectively avoid the corresponding vibration model of resonance. At last analyse the whole text of the research content, as to the milling head's thermal deformation analysis and error compensation to be further studied were also put forward.
