In view of to the optimization requirement of the high cut in fully mechanized coal mining face gas control measures, this paper study on the reasonable position of inclined high level suction roadway. Considering the extraction of gas source and the gas flow channel, focus on research about the scope of overlaying strata fracture development, the released range influenced by exploitation affection.So as to guarantee it’s structural stability and extraction effect.In this paper, the Liu Zhuang coal mine151305fully mechanized mining face with large minging height inclined longwall as the research background. Integrated use analog simulation, numerical simulation, practical investigation, research results are as follows:(1) Inclined model simulation results show that the height of caving zone develop about21cm,4.2times of minging height, the open-off cut and stop line have the same the largest height of gas conducted zone, the distance of upper plane of coal bed is80cm,16times that of mining height are broken. Analysis of the development characteristics of the mining fissure, figure out that the reasonable vertical distance of high drainage roadway is40-50m;(2) The horizontal model shows that the developmental range of fracture which close to the return airway was a30-40cm horizontal distance to the return airways;(3) Numerical simulation results show that the vertical range of50m, Rock mass stress affect significantly, pressure relief is fully. When the working face advancing200m, stress concentration factor at the vertical range of about50m change basically stable at0.5. So the high level suction roadway can be designed at this range, this rang conducive to it’s stability and guarantee the long-term extraction.(4) Research on the relationship between high pumping lane position change and drainage by investigation of three large mining height fully mechanized working face, the results show that when the high level suction roadway vertical distance increase, the pumping effect will gradually get better, The vertical distance of40m and above high drainage roadway pumping effect is better than the vertical distance is less than40m, Some of the high drainage roadway reasonable vertical distance can reach more than42m. Combined with the simulation results, the vertical distance of inclined high level suction roadway should be40-50m.
