With the extending of the high-grade highway to mountainous area perpetually, the work on landslide hazard harnessing becomes more and more important, but in Shaanxi Province, even all over the Country , we does not have the technique that is mature and perfect enough on this area, and have to do further research. The paper use the landslides in Tonghuang first class highway as the object of study, then though the analyze and the research on the geo-environment that form the landslide,the type and the rule of distribution of landslides , the sensitivity factor that influences landslides,the destruction modes and the checking method of stability of landslides, the paper brings forward the remedy methods that aim at landslides among which all kinds of sensitivity factor is dominant, and finally make certain a integrative fathering method that is scientific,reasonable, economical by the evaluation and the analyze on every index of the treatment scheme.Aiming at the abundant ground water inside the landslide , we have to take the scheme that give priority to eliminating the ground water (supporting seeping groove, flow blind ditch of drainage, ascending pass for drainage); While aiming at the landslide mainly caused by weak structural plane, we have to give priority to lessening the digging depth, and take the integrative fathering method composed with wall supporting and drainage as a supplement; When high front surface is the main factor that lead the landslide, we have to take the fathering measure that give priority to reduce the height of the front surface and take some proper anti-slide retaining measure as a supplement when we are fathering.At the same time, through the tracking study on every segment just as investigation, design, construction and so on, we bring forward that enhancing the investigation is the fundamentality on reducing geological hazard of the high-grade highway in mountainous area; Each segment of the work on landslide hazard harnessing should be mate. The method and the conclusion can be used for reference on the landslide hazard harnessing engineering in same type region.
