Nitrogen oxide (NOx) is the main pollutant which is released during coal combustion of coal-fired thermal power plant. As the main of coal-consumption unit in thermal power plant, the fired boiler also is the most important control object of Nitrogen oxide emission. With increasingly stringent environmental requirements in China, NOx emissions will be restricted more stringently. SCR (Selective catalytic Reduction,SCR) is most widely used in the controlling of NOx emissions due to highest efficiency and technology maturity, But the initial step of SCR is a little late in China, so there are many potentials need to be optimized in the actual operation. The thesis focused on the boiler SCR system of a domestic 300MW power plant, and studied on optimal operation of the SCR DeNOx system. Based on lots of data analyzed by DCS records about SCR system, The thesis had got the main factors which affect the efficiency of denitrification. Then, established the optimization model of SCR DeNOx efficiency based on Least Squares Support Vector Machines, meantimes, optimized the model by genetic algorithm. Ultimately, we got the optimal adjustment parameters with the given conditions. The adjustment parameters not only provide guidance to operator, but also provide a reference of optimal operation for other domestic power plant's SCR DeNOx system. It has nice significance in energy and SCR operation cost saving for power plants.
