Research And Design Of Full-automatic Hot Melt Adhesive Carton Sealer

Hot melt adhesive is a new type of green environmental carton sealing materials. Carton sealed by hot melt adhesive has become a main carton sealing technology in developed countries. Presently, the traditional strapping and taping are widely used in carton sealing in our country, which wre low efficiency, badly pollute, waste ofresource and not conform to the requirements of environmental protection. The research and development of hot melt adhesive carton sealer has just started in our country recently. The existing hot melt adhesive carton sealers are manual or semi-manual applications. The most of automatic hot melt adhesive carton sealers on the market just can seal single size carton. The full-automatic hot melt adhesive carton sealer, which can automatically carry out picking carton, opening carton, cartoning, spraying glue and sealing carton, was developed based on the "Twelfth Five-Year" plan project supported by National science and technology "Research and Demonstration of Key Technical Equipment and Materials in Food Packaging". The sealer with high degree of automation is suitable for different size carton. It can make the product beautiful, powerful and environmentally friendly.The main research content of this paper is as follows:The overall structure of automatic hot melt adhesive carton sealer was designed. According to the main technical parameters and function requirements of the carton sealer, the technology roadmap and working cycle diagram of the carton sealer were analyzed and designed. The transmission system was researched. The cam indexer was selected to emerge the intermittent movement. The intermittent movement was transmitted to conveying system of carton and material by synchronous belt. Finally, the overall structure of the machine has been determined which composed of open-carton molding device, cartoning institution and sealing device, etc.The open-carton molding device was researched and designed. The main parameters and the whole construction of the device were confirmed by the analysis of technological movement of the device and the motion track of opening carton. The carton warehouse was designed with a slope angle which was 30°. The size is adjustable. The support length of the support bar of the carton warehouse was ensured by analysising the stress and deformation of the stack cartons in carton warehouse. The The carton picking device was studied. The swinging cylinder was selected to drive the swinging rod which can pick carton intermittently. The carton conveying device was researched and designed and a kind of adjustable transportation machiney of carton was designed.The cartoning institution and sealing device were researched and designed. The functional requirement and the main parameters ware analyzed. The alternating current (ac) cylinder was selected to drive ejector pad by studying the cartoning scheme. The operation was stability and the stroke was adjustable. The technical movement of was analyzed. The entir emotions of sealing carton were distributed in seven stations.the various agencies of sealing device were designed by combinng sealing box process.The control system of the full-automatic hot melt adhesive carton sealer was studied and designed. The control schematic diagram,the hardware wiring diagram and the control flow char were designed according to the control requirement of carton sealer. The control ladder diagram was designed by connecting with the work cycle diagram of sealer. The advantages of the pneumatic technology ws analyzed and the control schematic diagram of gas path was designed.The full- automatic hot melt adhesive carton sealer equipment was developed. The 3D modeling, trial-manufacture and debug of carton sealer were done. The unreasonable distribution was changed by 3D modeling timely. The trial-manufacture and debug were used to do some optimization and improvement in structure. The sealing box test of carton sealer was done. The result showed that the qualification rate of finished product was 99% when the rotation speed of drive shaft was 75 r/min and the production capacity was50 box/min. The carton sealer runed stably and accurately.
