Due to the complexity of the structure and function of CNC machine tools, it is particularly important for you to pinpoint and judge the reasons for failure when the problem occurred. The study of the thesis, concerning CNC machine tools equipment used in Nanchang Gear LLC, is related technical issues of the development in CNC machine tools fault advisory system, including demand analysis of system development,knowledge acquisition techniques of fault diagnosis case database, fault characteristics and the establishment of fault tree and technology of software development in CNC machine tools fault diagnosis system and so on, initially realizes quick judgment and accurate positioning of CNC machine tools fault diagnosis and achieves good effect in practice. The paper consists of four parts.Firstly it carries on the overall design in CNC machine tools fault consultation system and software demand analysis. Secondly, it studies the acquisition of CNC machine fault diagnosis case database, in case of the establishment of the fault case database for CNC machine tools in Nanchang Gear LLC. Thirdly, it probes fault characteristics and establishes the method of fault tree which solves the fault of CNC machine tools and then improves the speed and accuracy of case base query. Finally, it discusses the technology of software development in CNC machine tools fault advisory system, in virtue of Visual C++ and MFC based software development platform, by the use of ADO connection and in control of ACCESS case database.This paper verifies the correctness and feasibility of the system through the CK6140 CNC lathes and XH715 K machining centers simulations.
