In recent years, in order to reduce operating costs and improve logistics operation system, the petroleum and petrochemical enterprises reform ownership, seeking the third profit source. Therefore, Company focus on improving oil products distribution, it is the key to reduce the transportation cost and improve operation efficiency. As a result, optimizing the distribution route become a kind of important method to achieve goals and solve the problem of developmental disorders.This paper starts studying with the current situation of refined oil secondary distribution vehicle route, aiming at reducing the oil secondary distribution transportation costs. Vehicle route problem are analyzed deeply by the paper, vehicle route optimization problem is transformed into measurable mathematical model. According to the actual need, C- W saving algorithm is amended, and last using it to solve model. Meanwhile, the refined oil secondary distribution system situation of company of Y is analyzed deeply in the paper, the distribution vehicle route optimization method is proposed to solve the problem of these unreasonable route, such as vehicles running circuitous transportation, transportation and freight, etc. Finally, the design of the route optimization model is applied to the company of Y, and obtained satisfactory results. The distribution efficiency of company of Y is improved by vehicle route optimization solution a large extent, which can effectively reduce the unreasonable transportation vehicles.Through this study, the C- W saving algorithm is applied to solve the product oil secondary distribution vehicle route optimization problem successfully. The paper not only explore a practical method to solve this problem, but also put forward to a new way of thinking to solve the vehicle route problem. The paper also provides the solution which effectively shorten the total transportation distance, achieving transportation cost reduction goals. The optimized practical plan is provided for the enterprise decision-makers, owning higher theoretical and practical reference value.
