With the constant progress of science and technology,Industries are present a rapid development momentum, and the requirements to the quality and yield of Plate strip is higher and higher.The rolling mill vibration problem is, however, one of the important reasons which influence the yield and quality of plate strip, and domestic and foreign scholars made a lot of researches for the problem of rolling mills’ vibration about that. But most of the research in terms of structure was the vibration of the mill local system, which couldn’t comprehensively consider the characteristics of the whole rolling mill’s vibration with the mill parts’ s interaction effects. About the research of the rolling force as rolling mill vibration force in the aspect of external excitation, most of the rolling force as a constant force was applied on the rolling mill to study the characteristics of the vibration of the mill, and ignored rolling force is fluctuative due to the existence of the Plate strip. There are many factors that can actually make the rolling mill vibrate, however the influence of fluctuation of the rolling force of mill system not only is one of the main reasons of rolling mills’ vibration or even seriously damage in the process of rolling,but aiso always needs to attach great importance to the research direction in the field of rolling mill vibration.These factors affecting will be comprehensively considered in this paper including the clearance between the rolls’ bearings and the mill housing, and the linear stiffness and the nonlinear damping between the backup roll and the work roll and so on. By reasonably simplificating 1580 four high rolling mill machine system, including the main transmission system and the bearings and the mill housing, the geometry of the rolling mill vibration analysis model is established.Based on the ANSYS finite element software, the model of the 1580 four high rolling mill is analysised to calculate the natural frequencies and the main vibration of the rolling mill. the model of the rolling mill is reasonable,by comparing the calculation results with the stiffness test experimental test data for the rolling mill in the process of production, at the same time the inherent characteristics of the rolling mill vibration is intuitively known,which provides a theoretical basis for the next step of simulation analysis.Based on the model of the 1580 four roll rolling mill before, the simulation of the process of the rolling mill is completed in the LS-DYNA explicit dynamics analysis software. The characteristics of rolling mill vibration is got at the effect of the fluctuant rolling force adding a plastic rolled piece to apply the fluctuant rolling force on the rolling mill. a series of vibration curve of every parts belong to the rolling mill are obtained by LS-Pre Post and Matlab and so on, which helps observe and analysis the characteristics of rolling mill vibration in the stage of the rolled piece being bitten in,which Provides a theoretical reference for optimizing the structure of the rolling mill or solving the problem of abnormal vibration of the rolling mill in the practical work.
