An oxide lead-zinc mine in Xinjiang,the grade of lead and zinc were 2.31% and2.51%,respectively,the rate of lead and zinc oxide were 84.48% and 75.61%,and the associated element iron and manganese had grade of 27.12% and 15.22%,which belong to the oxidized lead-zinc polymetallic deposits.Aiming at the recycling technical pro-b lem of high oxidation and more associated minerals,researches were conducted on the washability of the ore.Based on the researches of process mineralogy,mineral species,disseminated state and associated relationship were proven.The results showed that the mainly metallic mineral included hematite,goethite,hydromanganite,rhodochrosite,gelena,chalcophanite,pyrolusite,coronadite.And the mainly gangue minerals were garnrt,illite,calcite,ankerite and quartz. Lead-zinc minerals of the ore were mainly present in form of isomorphism minerals of lead,zinc and manganese(coronadite and chalcophanite).Therefore,the separation was difficult.Combined with the process mineralogy research,this paper researched three mainly processes:flotation process,gravity-flotation combined technological process and reducing roasting-magnetic combined technological process. The reducing roasting-magnetic combined technological process was used.And the best condition of roasting-magnetic combined technological process were:temperature 1100℃,time of roasting 3 hours,the dosage of braize 25%,grinding time of calcining magnetic 1 hour,magnetic field intensity of weak magnetic 0.2T,magnetic field intensity of high intensity magnetic1.5180 T.The technique index of the experiment were:the iron concentration has a irongrade of 68.95% with recovery of 80.70%,and the manganese concentration has a manganese grade of 31.27% with recovery of 77.40%,calcine has a lead grade of 0.51%and a zinc grade of 0.29%,the volatilization rates of lead and zinc were 82.69% and90.99%.The results showed that the proposed separation process is suitable for the comprehensive recovery of the lead, zinc, iron and manganese in the ore.The research of this study not only make us utilize,but also has certain practical value and guiding significance of lead-zinc oxide which has the same feature that low grade and high oxidation rate of this ore.
