With the continuous development of society and the continuous spinning technology advances, people are the requirements for roving machine are also increasing. The traditional roving machine is no longer able to meet the needs of social development, as well as its systems are present complex accuracy and precision of the problem of low, while the number of artificial is also a very important issue, which resulted in the development of roving serious impact. With the applied of PLC, inverter, industry computer, distributed transmission, and on line testing, textile machine have been developing to the direction of automatics and continuous. This has created the conditions for the rapid development of the textile machine, making operational efficiency and mechatronics roving machine has been rapid development,the development of the new type flyer frame motion control system become necessary and urgent.Aiming at the defects of the traditional flyer frame, this paper proposed the independent transmission design, which using four motors driving different mechanical parts respectively. This method simplified the transmission system greatly. On the basis of the system design, mathematical model has been constructed according to rolling and forming principles of the flyer frame. The new roving machine motion control system using PLC programmable control technology, the CAN bus controller and the inverter and servo motor control for four, while making it possible for the rollers and the bobbin and Long ribs, whole separate flyer effective control, the traditional roving machine for effective improvements, making the mechanical structure has been simplified and effective. This project comes from the National Science and Technology Pillar Program during the Eleventh Five-year Plan Period, which is the direction project of China National Textile And Apparel Council.JWF1436 Automatic doffing flyer frame was awarded First prize of 2013 Science and technology achievements by China Textile Industry Association and Second prize by China Hengtian Group Ltd.
