Flyer frame is one of the important equipment in cotton spinning mill. With the development of cotton spinning technique, higher requirements are attched to flyer frame too. The transmission system of traditional flyer frame is complex, low control accuracy, which will influence the further development of flyer frame hardly. In order to simplify the transmission system of traditional flyer frame, raise operation efficiency and improve the mechatronics level, a new project is presented, adopting four motor sectional drive system with computer control. To reform the transmission system of traditional flyer frame thoroughly, several advanced techniques are adopted in this system, such as IPC, PLC, CAN field bus and servo motor control.Chapter one summarizes the background of this research and the development history of flyer frame, as well as the process and technics flow of it. In the end, the chief research content is briefly introduced.Chapter two analyzes the structure and principle of the main mechanism, and present a new design method with four motor sectional drive to simplify the transmission system of the tradional flyer frame, then gives a new pattern based on the rolling shaping rule of flyer frame.In chapter three, some related techniques as IPC and CAN bus are briefly introduced, then achieves an overall design scheme of the transmission system with computer control.In chapter four, on the basis of the overall scheme, the hardware and software are accomplished. The data communication, the synchorous control of servo motor and how to control rolling and shaping of roving are discussed in detail.In chapter five.the debug process is presented, the research results are discussed and analyzed, the problems in spinning test and relevant solutions are introdued and discussed too.Finally, in chapter six, a summarization on the study results of this paper is given, the conceit of the further research work is pointed out.
