| In Guangdong Fankou lead-zinc Mine, the processing of fine particlemineral flotation is a difficult problem. There exist a lot of minerals in these fine particles. These minerals combined each other and are polluted by flotation reagent; therefore, they have similar floatability and are not easy to be separated. In this study, a series flotation test and studies are taken on to probe new flow sheet of separation of fine lead-zinc minerals. In order to make out the microstructure of mineral in Fankou Mine, XPS was employed. We found that these minerals are easy to be oxidized; theses oxidized minerals make particle surface hydrophilic and then low floatability. We use bubble attachment and flotation speed test to research the effect of particle size in lead-zinc minerals flotation. The results show that there exists a function relation between particle size and flotation speed.Zeta potential and electrochemistry measurement is utilized to explore the flocculation behavior be fine size and course size particle. On the foundation of theses theoretic study, we get a new technique of separation of fine lead-zinc minerals- carrier flotation. After carrier flotation, a lead-zinc concentration produced, the total grade of lead and zinc is more than 45%, and lead zinc recovery is more than 78% and 74% respectively. |
