In petroleum industry, amphiprotic polymers are widely used for their better properties. This paper., copalyeierized the amphiprotic polymer based on the analysis of principle of amphiprotic polymer's operation. Through orthogonal design and redox initiation and by free radical polymerization in aqueous solution, a new kind of amphiprotic polymer was synthesized.The effects of monomer mixture concentrations, initiator dosage and reaction time on molecular weight were discussed in this paper. The molecular structures of copolymer PADAM were ascertained through infrared absorption spectrum method; The influences of salt, temperature and pH value of the aqueous products were studied in this paper; The fluid loss control ability and the inhibition ability were evaluated with clay swelling equipment, shale-recovery rate tests.The results indicate that the product with certain molecular references is well with anti-salt & Ca2+, and the ability of fluid loss control and inhibition. The product is a kind of amphiprotic polymer with both fluid loss control and inhibition ability in fact.
