High-Pressure Grinding Roller (HPGR), as a kind high-efficiency and energy-saving equipment, has been widely applied in cement industry, and is extending to the domain of metal ore mining and beneficiation, the industrialization and series trend will be formed for its tremendous development potential. In this thesis, assembled grinding rollers-the main working section of HPGR are designed and analyzed with CAD technology based on feature 3D solid modeling to solve the important technical problems in term of development and design of the equipment. It will lay a sound foundation for its application, and fast the proceeding of research and development. The main contents of this thesis are as follow:(1) The system platform for design and analysis of the assembled grinding rollers is established based on CAD software-SolidWorks, bridged on feature and aggregated with other softwares such as COSMOS/Works, IPA etc, it offers the method of applying CAD technology in designing the assembled grinding rollers.(2) The structure of assembled grinding rollers is designed through solid modeling and virtual assemble, meanwhile, the structure rationality is tested by checking the static intervention among parts of the assembled grinding rollers, and the application domain of CAD is widened for animated design of the assemble.(3) Finite element analysis technology is applied in the structure design, the component parts of assembled grinding rollers are analyzed in accordance with their working state, the analysis results become the theoretical document for structure design, thus the dimensions and materials of the structure are optimized rationally.(4) On the base of theoretical design and analysis, the working state of HPGR and its assembled grinding rollers are tested through the equipment applied to do serial experiment of crushing ironstone on-the-spot at Gu-Shan mining plant. The results of theoretical design and analysis are proved correct and practical, some new problems appear. Meanwhile, the crushing effect and saving energy of the equipment working in process of grinding ironstone are researched, all these lay a foundation for the further study of the technology.Stating form engineering application, the bottleneck technology is offered to research and development of HPGR's assembled grinding rollers, its enforcement not only shortens the exploratory period of the new product, enhances its design quality, and reduces its research cost, but also lays a technical base for furthering the development progress of industrialized and serial equipments, hastens the equipments' application in metal mining for crushing hard ironstone.
