Conventional beam-pumping unit is widely used in oil pumping by mechanical means, and it holds the balance in oil pumping by mechanical means; however, its efficiency is very low and it consumes much energy, on the aspect of consuming electric power, it is only junior to water infusion which takes the first place in oil field, beam-pumping unit has become one of the equipments that consume most electric power; moreover, in our country, the main oil area has come into the phase that contains much water, the effect of exploitation of crude oil is becoming worse and the cost of exploitation is becoming high. For a long time, oil industry experts and technicians always bend themselves to reduce consumption of electric power on the premise that doesn't reduce production of crude oil, they developed many new pumping units and electricity-efficient electromotor, but has little effect. This paper, from system point, proposes this idea that use mechanical-electrical integration controlling technology to change mechanical properties of the electromotor, thus, this can avoid "Big horse haul small vehicle" phenomena, make the whole system of beam-pumping unit, pumping rod, and oil well pump toward good balance, solve the problem that the electromotor generates electricity, reduce the system's consumption of energy, and boost the efficiency of the system, thus can attain to the goal of saving electricity and increasing the production of crude oil. Consequently , the development of this project is a relatively new way, and will has far-reaching impact on saving energy , increasing production and improving economic benefit.On the basis of widely collecting datum, aiming at practical circumstances of the current beam-pumping unit, this paper calculated system's efficiency, analyzed the efficiency of the system of beam-pumping unit, and found out the major factor of efficiency loss, and proposed corresponding measures. Analyzed and compared the effect of saving energy of several energy-saving scheme which were already used in oil field, aiming at geological circumstances that contain much water because of water infusionwhich can keep production of crude oil, this paper proposed the idea that use frequency conversion regulating velocity technology and compute controlling technology to alter the current beam-pumping unit, put up the overall scheme, and devised correlative hardware and control program. Theoretically analyzed the possibility of increasing production and saving energy, and calculated the effect of increasing production and saving energy, and use the performance of the altered-beam-pumping unit to validate the effect of increasing production and saving energy, the result indicate that beam-pumping be altered by Variable frequency regulating velocity technology will lead to greatly reduce the consumption of electric power and increase the production of crude oil, thus can greatly reduce the cost of producing crude oil. Lastly , budgeted economy benefit and social benefit, advise oil field popularize Variable frequency regulating velocity technology, which will bring not only large economic benefit but also significantly social implications.
