2-sulfonic-4-(β-sulphatoethyl-sulphone) phenylamine is often applied to producing bifunctional-soluble reactive dyes and is an important dye intermediate. It plays an important role in the synthesis of KN style (vinyl sulfone style) reactive dye M style double reactive dye and modified dissimilar double reactive dye. Used 2-sulfonic-4-(β-sulphatoethyl-sulphone) phenylamine as raw material can improve the uniformly dying performance and scourablility of dyestuff molecules and can improve the firm degree of colour staining.Paraacetaminophenyl-β-hydroxyethylsulfone can be used as raw material to produce the target product 2-sulfonic-4-(β-sulphatoethyl-sulphone) phenylamine through sulfonationating and hydrolytic reactions. In the current experiments, 20% fuming sulphuric acid can be used as a sulphonating agent, the optimal reaction conditions as follows: the mol ratio between extricating SO3 and raw material is 2.7:1, the solfonated temperature is 120℃, the solfonated time is 7 hours;hydrolytic temperature is 100℃, the level of 50% sulfuric acid is 400g·mol-1, the hydrolytic time is 16 hours. The best post treatment operating process of 2-sulfonic-4-(β-sulphatoethyl-sulphone) phenylamine's sodium salt as follows: Adding in calcium carbonate to neutralize the redundance acid in the reaction liquid. The mol ratio between sodium carbonate and raw material is 1:1;used sodium chloride to salting out, the temperature is 10℃, the pH is 1.0, the saturation salting out crystallization time is 18 hours.In the optimal reaction condition and operating process, separately, the ester purity and amino purity of target product is 66.09% and 70.01%;accordingly, the mol yield is 72.82% and 77.14%;HPLC purity is 90.57%.
