The Development Of Automatic Self-cleaning Vertical Leaf Filter Machine Mechanical System Development

In the alumina industries at home and abroad, the filters used for aluminate liquor refining process are old technical kind, with the problems of high running cost and difficult operation & maintenance, which finally results in passive production. Though continuous developments and replacements have been made in recent years, there is no material reforms and solutions to be found which are urgently needed to such problems as: great water and gas resumption while water is still needed for cake discharging, serious crust onto filter cloth, heavy labour strength, etc.The Fully-automatic Self-sluicing Vertical Leaf Filter discussed in this topic is empoldered under this situation, which is a new type high-efficiency low-consumption pressured filter and can overcome abovementioned defects. It is tested in Bayer aluminate liquor process in Shandong Aluminum Corporation, the material to be filtered is the overflow comes from the settler tank.Based on the development project, this paper describes the mechanical system of this new-type filter from the main points of principle research, configuration design, key components design, introduces the test-run effects and application foreground. The following filtering technologies and configuration design are considered as the most advanced filtering technologies in the world:(1) Operating principle.
