The nature is containing the extremely rich mineral resource. Most want to withdraw in the ore the useful mineral substance, the dressing is the especially important working procedure. The grinding-classification plays the continuation to open after the vital role, Its target fit and unfit quality directly are affecting the Ore-dressing plant economy, the technical specification. Carries on the effective automatic control to it enhances one of Ore-dressing plant economic efficiency most effective ways. The grinding-classification process is a complex circulatory system, each external interference influence factor is multitudinous. At the same time, grinding-classification process has a large inertia , very long pure lag time, the non-linearity serious and sometimes has the denaturation , the mechanism quite is complex. So it only depends on the manual control to achieve with difficulty the ideal effect, and that urgent need to carry on the automatic control to the grinding-classification process.This paper take the automatic control system for single copper grinding-suspending work of mineral-select Subsidiary company of Yunxi Group as background. Firstly, Regarding the current domestic and foreign grinding-classification automation research, the technical level and the development. Then analyzing the technical process of this system, the control content and the control request. That include the control of equipments, the examination to the grinding-quantity, the control and accumulation, the automatic judgement and the cut giving-ore machine, the examination and control to the loading quantity of grinding-machine, the examination to the electric current of rod mill and spiral classifier, the control of grinding density, the examination and control to the classifier overflow density, the control to the pressure and density of cyclone, the control to fluid position of pumps pond. Then, according to analyzes the system the technical process and the control content, determining the control plan: the simplex circuits use the PID control, the complex circuits use the cascade PID control and the fuzzy control. It has elaborated to the control return route of giving ore, giving water, draining water, and fluid position of pumps pond. It has elaborated to cascade control return route of pond's density. And it has elaborated to the general method of fuzzy control. It has designed the new algorithm to giving-ore that utilized the fuzzy control. In addition, it has compiled the procedure, and has realized the intelligent control of grinding. Finally specifically explained the project realization of grinding-classification DCS control system. In the system, Yanhua industrial control computer, SIMATICS7-400 and KingView6. 51 have been used. It used Step7 to work out orders, and used KingView6. 51 to work out managing orders. It specifically explained the project realization in DCS.The goal of this paper is proposing used the control method of Combines the PID control and the fuzzy control, and use DCS to realize the grinding-classification process automatic control through to the system analysis research. It reliably provided a set effective and economic grinding-classification automatic control system for the Ore-dressing plant. It has the better application value.
