Acylhydrazones as special Schiff base ligands, have good biological activities and strong coordination ability, its complexes with transition metal have anti-tumour, catalyzer, inhibiting bacteria and other functions. In this paper, we synthesized a series of new chromium (â…¢) complexes, investigated their crystal structures and characterized their spectral properties. And the interaction between the chromium(â…¢) complexes with calf thymus DNA have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry, absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. This thesis consists of five chapters and the main contents as follows:In the first chapter, a review was presented, in which simply introduced the basic chemical properties and biological functions of chromium, systematically presented the development of organochromium complexes with insulin mimetic activity and cleavage DNA activity recently, summarized the mode and research techniques of the interaction between transition metal complexes and DNA.In the second chapter, selection and synthesis of ligands. Acylhydrazones as a kind of ligand with biological activities and strong coordination abilities, have important applicatios in bioinorganic chemistry and pharmacy. The coordination, properties and applications of acylhydrazones were briefly introduced in this chapter. The biological activities and pharmacological activity of acylhydrazones schiff base with its complexes were described. More than ten kinds of hydrazone ligands and several other kinds of ligands were synthesized. In the third chapter, synthesis and characterization of chromium(â…¢) complexes. These new chromium (â…¢) complexes were synthesized through direct methods under routine conditions with inorganic salt of chromium (â…¢) and acylhydrazones as the basic materials. Its single crystal were cultivated by free volatilization and ether diffusing way. The components and properties of complexes were analyzed by IR, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra, and the structure of part complexes were speculated base on experience. In the forth chapter, results and discussions. In all synthesized complexes, the complexes 2 and 5 were selectively analyzed. And the structure were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The interactions between the two complexes with DNA were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. In the fifth chapter, conclusions and outlooks. This chapter summarized the main contents and done some maginations to ours future works. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Chromium (â…¢) complexes, Insulin mimetic activity, Cleavage DNA activity, Hydrazone ligand, Crystal structures, Calf thymus DNA | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
