Computer simulation and virtual prototyping are very popular in mechanical systems,many studies focus on their concept,framework and system architecture.However,further studies of the specific system is required for integration of theory and practice.Powerful methods and tools are also needed in engineering.Based on CAD/CAE technology and multibody dynamics theory,the modeling and dynamic deformation analysis of virtual prototype of CARD's DORF are studied in this paper.The main contents are included as follows:1)Based on the integration engineering simulation environment of LMS Virtual.Lab,Virtual Product Development(VPD)system is constructed,the framework of textile machine VPD is put forward.2) Using parametric model construction technique,the parametric solid model of CARD's DORF is built.3)The flexible bodies representation and establishment of flexible bodies kinematics equations are introduced,the fundamental of Multi-flexible-body dynamic of LMS VL Motion,Component Modal Synthesis Technique,are described in detail.4)In order to determine the FEA Mesh type and Element size,the Linear static analysis of CARD's DORF is carried out.5)The dynamic deformation calculation of CARD's DORF has been done,the maxmin deformation point and it's value are found, Furthermore,the parametric analysis of CARD's DORF dynamic deformation is finished,the influence of DORF's rotational velocity,Bear support type and the size of stiffener are discussed.At last,the valueable conclusion to engineering is obtained.
