Electrical delay detonator with 25 millisecond equal segment of delay time is one with high-precision delay time, to which delay composition control technology is applied. Its delay time accuracy and anti-static are important indices. In this paper, we describe that a comprehensive study of the detonator was made on selecting electric fuse heads to use, improving delay element and composition delay accuracy, optimizing the detonator structure design and designing anti-static.In this paper, by improving the design of a three-core delay component with lead case, adjusting silicon-based delay composition formulas with differential thermal analysis (DTA) and according to oxygen balance theory and strict controlling particle size and purity of the raw materials, the composition delay accuracy has been improved. By putting forward a method that a transition element is added to the delay component before it is assembled and optimizing the structure design of the product, the requirement of the delay accuracy of the electric detonator has been achieved.In this paper, principle of producing static and approach resistant to static is analyzed. By adopting a conductive rubber header and adding an electric isolating sleeve to it, the capability resistant to static has been achieved.By adopting the above measures, the development of the electrical delay detonator with 25ms equal segment of delay time is completed, which is of some significance for the development of other series of millisecond detonators with high accuracy.
