The Research Of Nonel Tube Which Influenced The Delay Time Of Nonel Detonators

In the modern blasting engineering, the application of detonating cord network increased year by year. Blasting engineers put forward a lot of requirements which were about the equipment performance, especially for nonel detonator’s delay time and delay precision. The common fuse blasting caps had so much influence factors which influnced the detonators’delay time. Yet the research of nonel tubes’length which affected the fuse blasting cap’s delay time was so few, especially the nonel tubes which closed to detonator had cracking, knot, folding and something slipping in. According to the above problems, by using high-speed photography system and multifunction tester, some matters were studied minutely. The main research results are as follows:(1)The length of nonel tubes which have significant influence on nonel detonater’s delay time.(2)The nonel detonater’s delay time is measured by different methods which showe that the method of high-speed photography’s accuracy is higher than the photoelectric method.(3)The nonel tubes which have cracking wall, knot and folded can influence nonel detonater’s delay time, when the abnormity of nonel tube is closed to detonator, the detonator’s delay time will delay and the influnce is more obvious.(4)When the nonel tubes have little water, the nonel detonater will misfire, and the delay time will lengthen indefinitely.(5)The combustion of delay powder is affected by the chamber pressure. In a certain range, with the increasing of pressure, the combustion rate is increasing, and the delay time is dropping. When the pressure exceeds a certain value, with the pressure increasing, the combustion rate of delayed medicine will decrease.(6)In the blasting construction, It cannot cut down the excess nonel tube while it outside the hole. It should also avoid cracking, knot, folding and something slipping in while it near to the detonator.If in this way,it could prevent the network from delaying or misfiring, and affect the reliable blasting network and blasting effect.Through the researching test, it could analyze and summ up the influence regularity and the mechanism of nonel detonator’s delay time. Under the different condition of defect nonel tube, the influence of delay time had been summed up. It provided theoretical basis for using nonel detonators correctly in the practical construction, which had certain realistic significance.
