At present,the industry of China is on the stage of high speed development,thus the environment question of air pollution is getting more and more serious.How to control the air pollution becomes the urgent event.Then how to raise the dust collection efficiency of the dust precipitator has become the key of the program.The article was combined with the project of National Nature Science Foundation of China—The research of ions charging agglomerating with the alternation electric field of the ESP(Approve number:50578020),to design a new type electrostatic precipitator with high gas velocity and study on the capability and the theory of the electrostatic precipitator.The main of research content is:(1) In view of electrostatic precipitator's existing virtue and disadvantage,the internal structure of the precipitator was ameliorated and improved,and then a new type of electrostatic precipitator with high gas velocity was designed to solve the problem of huge volume and high cost of electrostatic precipitator.(2) Feasibility experiment was designed to study the effect of the working voltage U,the gas velocity v,the interval of dust collection plates L and so on with the air ion concentration generated by the self designed charging device.By the general rule which was obtained by the single factor experiment,the multi-factor orthogonal experiment was designed to seek the most superior combination of the various factors to enhance the ion concentration.(3) In view of the result of the feasibility experiment,the experiment of electrostatic precipitator with high gas velocity to purify the simulation gas was carried out.The influence rules of the factors to dust collecting efficiency are examined,such as initial dust densityφ,working voltage U, effective dust collecting area S and gas velocityνand so on.Then the orthogonal experiment was carried on to seek the most superior combination of the various factors to enhance the dust collecting efficiency.The experimental result indicated:(1) Feasibility experiment:The effect of the gas velocity and the dust collection board spacing on the ion transportation characteristic were remarkable.1) When the gas velocity was enhanced,the ion concentration was raised from 2×106/cm3 to 2.1×108cm-3.When the gas velocity was closed to 6 m/s,the air ion concentration get a maximum value 2.1×108cm-3.2) While the interval of dust collection plates was increased from 20 to 35 mm,the ion concentration was raised from 7.9×105cm-3 to 3.4×107cm-3,then with the raising of the interval of dust collection plates,the ion concentration was reduced to 1.5×106cm-3.Through the orthogonal experiment table,the similar result of the single factor experimental can be found.(2) Electrostatic precipitator with high gas velocity to purify the simulation gas experiment:The effect of working voltage U and effective dust collecting area S on dust collecting efficiency were remarkable.1) When the working voltage U was raised from 20 kV to 45 kV,the dust collecting efficiency was raised from 73%to 95%;When U was raised from 45 kV to 60 kV,ηwas raised from 95%to 99%.2) When the system was not applied high voltage,the cyclone mechanism takes effect purely,and the dust collecting efficiency can reach above 70%.When 15 rows of the plates are completely applied high voltage,the area of dust collection plates was 10m2,ηwas above 95%.The result of the orthogonal experiment was similar to the single factor experimental.
