The development of open CNC system brings a deep change into numerical controlled processing. The open CNC system aims at building a modular, reconfigurable and expandable architecture of CNC systems. The target of open numerical control is to make the numerical control system to construct on an open platform. This platform is expandable, transplantable, interchangeable and interpretable. The customers can change or expand the system functions according to different applied requirement.Based on Huazhong open CNC system and the fore-and-aft platform software structure the numerical control system adopted, on the layer of opening the system core interface, the high-accuracy algorithm for curve interpolation which can regulate input speed automatically was researched and carried out by procedure. The main research work of this text is as follows:According to the three layer of open CNC system and its Software platform structure, Huazhong open CNC system was analyzed. Then the fore-and-aft platform software structure was analyzed and the fore-and-aft platform information exchange and multitask scheduling were studied. The idea that adopting data structure of sequential accessed list as share memory to exchange information is put forward.The algorithm for curve interpolation is researched in the text. Based on the algorithm of data acquisition, the algorithm is put forward, which can regulate input speed automatically. This algorithm improves outline accuracy of curve interpolation and makes the input speed under control.Adopting the method of module program design, the algorithm for curve interpolation which can regulate input speed automatically by employing the base module of Huazhong CNC system is realized. Adopting fore-and-aft platform software structure, it is implemented that harmonious running between background procedure that carry out point calculation for curve interpolation and downstage procedure that carry out reversing function. By function setup of reversing function, the function of sending interpolation data to interpolator is implemented。After experiment, correctness of the algorithm for curve interpolation which can regulate input speed automatically is verified, so do the accuracy of outline can be improved by this algorithm for curve interpolation.
