Objective:According to the impact of Shegan Mahuang Tang (SMT) on airway inflammation and PPAR-γin order to explore the treatment effect of bronchial asthma and its interaction theory.Methods:60 clean female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 6 groups (10mice/group):the control groupA,the model groupB, the DXM group C,the SMT low dose groupD (4.1g/kg),the SMT middle dose groupE (8.2g/kg) and the SMT high dose groupF (16.4g/kg). According to grouping, the various drugs were treated the mice which were established model of asthmatic mice.We observed the mice general conditions and graded them in terms of asthmatic severity.Furthermore, the white blood cell(WBC) count in BALF was tested then classfied and recorded.Lung tissue sections were stained not only to observe pathological changes but also the severity of airway inflammation.The expression of PPAR-γin lung tissue were detected by immunohistochemical staining.Results:1.Compared with the control group,the severity of asthma attacks in the model group increased dramatically(P<0.05).Compared with the model group, the severity of asthma'attacks in the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group were significantly reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the DXM group,the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group (P>0.05).2.Compared with the control group, the total number of leukocytes, EOS,lymphocytes content in BALF and bronchial inflammatory cell infiltration in the model group increased dramatically(P<0.05). Compared with the model group,the above parameters in the SMT low dose group, the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group were significantly reduced(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the DXM group,the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group(P>0.05).3.Compared with the control group,lung tissue expression of PPAR-γin the model group delivered dramatically(P<0.05). Compared with the model group,lung tissue expression of PPAR-γin the DXM group were blocked significantly (P<0.05),lung tissue expression of PPAR-γin the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group delivered dramatically(P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the the SMT middle dose group and the SMT high dose group(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.SMT could reduce the total number of leukocytes,EOS, lymphocytes content in BALF and bronchial inflammatory cell infiltration in asthmatic mice.2.SMT could deliver lung tissue expression of PPAR-γin asthmatic mice.3.SMT could improve airway inflammation by influencing the expression of PPAR-γin lung tissue.
