| Objective:On the basis of some policies about village doctors'practicing capability, summarizing the research of village doctors'practicing capability internal and utilizing others work about community health service theory and service of general practitioner, to put forward the practicing capability what village doctors should have. Though scene research and consultation of specialists grasps the village doctors'practicing capability stations in Qianjiang district of Chongqing city. One of the objecties is summarizing the experience of improve village doctors'practicing capability and putting forward advices.Methods:This study has used methods which including literature research, representative research and specialists consultation. By collecting data in Qianjiang Health Bereau and questionnaire survey, inputting and analyzing data by Epidate 3.0 and SPSS 15.0 to do descriptive analysis of the results.Results:1 Village doctors should have three aspects of basic practicing capability includes public health services, primary medical care, and other work ability. For public health services, village doctors should have the ability: Carrying out national health legislation, policies and principles, publicizing health common sense to the residents; Able to carry out maternal and child health, child management and family planning guidance, and assist the township hospitals to do a good job of preventive health care; Can carry out works of controlling chronic diseases, preventing endemic diseases and health care in elderly according to the local disease situation , can take on the establishment of family health tasks files; have the ability to carry out rehabilitation; can provide health education and counseling to local villagers including publicity and education of health knowledge, AIDS health education; can guid the farmers to carried out the Patriotic Health Campaign mainly include improving water and lavatories, rodent and disinfection disinfected; can report the infectious diseases, and to assist higher-level unit to deal with health emergencies; have the basic competencies of statistics for health information including the collection, collation and reporting of the information such as disease, birth and death on a variety of village-level health statistics records.2 At present, species of public health service provided by village doctors in Qianjiang district are fairly compete, but self-evaluation of practicing capability still needs to strengthen. The results show that the providing rates of public heath service which are 13 types in total are all above 90%, such as monitor of the infectious diseases report, preventive health care and management of tuberculosis control and so on. Self-evaluation of service capability is in general, except improving drinking water and lavatories guidance is relatively weak.This study also suggests that the providing rates of primary medical care which are 22 types in total are all above 90%, including medical, surgical and gynecologic common disease diagnosis, treatment and so on. Self-evaluation of practicing capability which is better includes home service to the old, weak or emergency patients and providing service 24 hours a day. Neonatal asphyxia rescue has lower self-evaluation. Self ability-evaluation of other health services is in the general level. Conclusions:The experiences of improvement of village doctors'service capability in Qianjiang distict are the strict practitioners'accession system, the conditions of improvement of village doctors'service capability, the establishment of the system of village doctors'training and the promise of village doctors'treatment to improve theirs enthusiasm.Some practicing capability stations of village doctors are not come up to the requirements. These items are: the capability of village doctors'self-evaluation is poor. Village doctors didn't accomplish the following duties and tasks: the Aged Care and the Hospital service home.Recommendations for improvement: establishing the Service quality to strict the practitioners'accession system, strengthening the construct of the village clinics and the management of village doctors, improving the existing village doctors'practicing capability. |
